No I am not going to steal some one's man.. or murder a neighbor.. ( Sorry I only watched a few episodes of the first season so I don't know what else is going on with that show).I am talking about the day to day desperate housewife life...
I have most of my day to day stuff under control... Laundry is minimal..
The house is pretty much picked up thanks to my Friday morning "Church Ladies".

but balanced non the less...No... the Desperate housewife stuff I am talking about... and have been TALKING about it ( not doing about ) is my flippin basement.. I have mentioned a couple of times, the need for clearing out this dungeon, 
and just have not had the fortitude to Gitr done.

I cannot tell you how excited I am to be seeing them.. He will be coming in the 16Th and she won't be able to be here until the 22Th. But ANYTIME we have with them will be golden.
This brings me back to the basement. When they stay here, one of them stays in the bedroom downstairs .. and the other in Mamma's sewing room.
( Yes we are old fashion like that...) So that means who ever is downstairs, has to be able to find the bed let alone sleep in it...

This room has for some odd reason become the dumping ground for all manner of odds and ends.. extra blankets,books, Cd's, clothes, you get the idea... probably because there is a door to the room that can be shut... and items that are out of sight... out of mind..
Which is now how I am feeling... out of mind with trying to figure out how to store, stash, or throw away all this accumulated stuff....
Unfortunately as soon as I start to think about it... I automatically come up with a variety of legitimate ( Grocery shopping) or illegitimate ( Alphabetize the C.D's) reasons to do other things... so in this case.. I will opt for a legitimate reason for not starting the Clean a thon..Which is now how I am feeling... out of mind with trying to figure out how to store, stash, or throw away all this accumulated stuff....Like...

NO ... I am not just stalling...
After all I do need to get some sustenance in this house don't I?...Hope you're having fun.. doing what ever it is you have to do...

I recognize that room in the basement!!! Did you sneak into my house prior to our "move" across the pond? I swear my basement looked the same! Now, it is stored in 264 boxes awaiting my arrival in 2010 to unpack and hopefully PITCH!!! If I haven't seen it in 2 years, it probably can go. But, I know me, I won't pitch it all. Happy cleaning and pitching!!!
