Was a blast!!!! and I didn't even play !!!! Iwas an old lady... instead I had the awesome job of watcher of the Coats/ Hats/Purses / Tokens and Tickets.. it was a rough job... but someone had to do it..besides I got to do what I love to do best... People watch.. and watch people I did....
I enjoyed watching their expressions and happiness so much it almost made me want to cry.. ( I know I know I am a big sap...) I truly want to remember this night for the rest of my life.... Not because it was so out of the ordinary..but because we were all there... everyone happy... all the people we love..New and Old.. I can't do the evening justice in my words... It was just one of those snapshot moments you want to hold to forever...

The guy in a booth in front of me was I think a single Dad.. because he only had his daughter and her friend... this guy was also a booth sitter... he sat at his booth and watched over the girls coats and acquired toys... what the girls did not know was as they would play various games.. he would shine a laser light on them and the machine they were playing on.. the poor kids could not figure out where the light was coming from ...every time they would try to trace it's source... he would tuck it away..He was cracking himself up... ( guess it doesn't take much)...
Of course the place was filled with assorted as one person in our party called them....( Columbine Kids)... long dark Matrix coats.. hair to match.... goth to the max troubled looking teens.. all congregating in small groups... S.C.A.R.Y !! but fun to watch... then there were the jocks... and their girlfriends... clean cut jock strap kind of kids.. One kid was hilarious doing his rendition of .. Karate Kid... Wax on... Wax off... Painta Da Fence.... Sanda Da floor... Poor schmuck was not making much of an impression on the young ladies of the group...
As fun as all this was... Watching my own family was even more fun...
Like I said.. I got there a little late and found them coming out of the "Zap Zone" each and everyone of them smiling and sweating up a storm... My brother and Sister in law.. their two boys... My sister and her two girls...( My brother in law hurt his back ).. M2 and M... Maria and her boyfriend... His sister and brother in law.. Maria's Long time friend who was in town from Purdue (another M ).. and of course Mr R... I think he was the biggest kid there..
It was just one of those snapshot moments you want to hold to forever...For me... the highlight was seeing Mr R on simulated ride... my older nephew to his right.. my youngest nephew on his chest... and the entire family gathered around them as Mr R... pretended to be frighten... Long drawn out OOOOOOhhhh!!!!!!! ... AAhhhhhhhh !!!!!! the looks on all their faces was just priceless...

Oh MY GOSH... How I love these people...even Maria's boyfriend sister...J... what a sweet heart... I don't really know her that well... and in spite of this.....because I was also the keeper of all the tickets.. keeping them separated and folded... she gave me a little blue rubber bracelet... how cute is that...
Well I am dead tired...
.( and I just sat there... imagine all the rest of the crew !!! )
