We had Sushi for lunch at a little place near the house... It was very good, even if Mr R did try to have the kids sample some Natto Nasty!!!
Instead we had a nice sampling of "normal" sushi...
From there M and I had our eye brows threaded..
or in my case.. my uni brow and moustache threaded.I really needed it too....It was getting alittle out of hand if you ask me...
M had never had it done, and was curious about the entire procedure...
I went first to show her how easy it was... and everything was going fine until I started to cry like a big baby... you see I have a small mole on the my left chin line and ever since the lovely signs of Menopause... there are three little hairs that continually grow from it...Unfortunately with the strength of a titanium golf club...
The gal that does my threading yanks them out for me while taming the uni brow and handlebar mustache,and brother let me tell you ... it hurts like a motha..I tried to put on a brave face for M... but the look on my face said it all...
it's ok... I have at least a month before I have to face that little plucker again...
After having bonded in our little beauty field trip... M... M2 ... Maria... and Mr R all decide to go to the Plymouth Ice Sculptures .I stayed back to make dinner.( Lasagna,Garlic bread, Breaded Chicken fillets, Salad and Chocolate Cake.) Yes it has been an eat fest around here...
The original plan was to go bowling or to a movie.. but everyone fell asleep after dinner.Hmmm I wonder why????
Instead Maria went out with her friend ( who will be leaving to go back to Indiana) ... the rest of us rented Stepbrothers...
( The movie was Funny in a "This is so stupid "kind of way) From there... it was every man for him/her self....
As I write find myself in Maria's room blogging while M2 and M play guitar hero ( It's hooked up to her T.V.) Mr R watching C.O.P.S or some other form of violence... and Mamma has headed off to bed.
Which is where I think I am headed soon...
Yes it was a nice easy going... boring kind of day... and I liked it !
