Yes..... I always clean the basement in silk tulle. Doesn't everyone?I really cannot begin to tell you the anxiety this whole thing was causing me... I mean talk about procrastination !!! It was giving me a major headache... Like many things in life...

often it is the THOUGHT of the thing... rather then the THING it self that gets to you.... The Idea of cleaning things up was much harder then the act.
I cleared so much....but so much more can go...
Tonight, at book club, I expressed my jubilation at the success of "Operation Dungeon Storm"
and that I had gathered a slue of books... some I could not part with and were organized.. Some were just put into boxes... Not knowing what I would do with the rest....then one of the gals told me she would take some books off my hands... SCORE !! I know I can part with my excess..
I'm not so sure Mr R is ready to part with his just yet....
Now THAT would really be a SCORE


While getting my son's old room ready
(technically it is not his room..because, he never really lived at this house.. we had the room built for him...just in case) it still manages to have so much of him in it.
I found a couple of old jersey's from High School Baseball. Alot of his fraternity paraphernalia. ( Scary) and the usual baseball,football, hockey cards...
I even found Mr R's old GI Joe ( with hair !) that was passed down to M2.
(Only ours is blond and no facial hair) A little more like GQ Joe ...



Where has the time gone??? ... I bums me out a little.. To think that he is all grown up... but I am also pleased that he is making a life for himself...
Starting in his room gave me just enough motivation to get about 95 % of the rest of the basement organized... In the spring I will try again to get rid of some stuff...




I am so pleased with the job done.. I should do a little jig...

But....Frankly... I'm just too tired..When M2 comes in to town.... I don't know if I will be updating as much.

I have to enjoy him while I have him...right??? Who knows.. maybe I'll have even more to write... keep checking...
