Good Books... Good Friends.... Who could ask for anything more???

Random Thoughts ... after Wednesday Night Book Club....Stell: " Get that Damn Camera OUT OF MY FACE !!!!"

Marge: " Heh... I LOVE when you piss Stella off !!! "

Kathy: " I think my sugar buzz is finally kicking in....."

Barb: " I am far to polite a person to be with these ding dongs.."

Chris: " Waiter.. my friend here needs a drink..... STAT....."

Teres: " Why...... Oh......Why didn't we go to Antonio's ... Wednesdays are Wine Night !!!!"

Chris: "OK... Ok... next time it's Wednesday Wine night"
Teres: " Thanks Man... I feel better already !"

Carol: " Do I LOOK like a new Catholic?... because I am you know ,I have the papers to prove it...."

Me: " Hey guys!!!!... Watch me pull a camera out of my hat"

Yes these are just some of the fake musings of some the gals from Book Club...

I must say.. (even though I HAVE said it before).

Tonight was yet another good example of why I feel so lucky....

I came to book club late... and I had contemplated not going at all because quite frankly....I was in quite a bit of a funk...

I won't drone on and on about the reasons..

I didn't even finish the book... giving me yet another reason not to go.. but Go I did... and now I am glad...

We talked about the book, about human nature, and how some things never change.

We joked and laughed but also reminded each other to pray for a gal in our group facing a huge medical crisis.

Afterwards some of us went out for coffee and there even more laughs...

By the end of the evening...on the way home.. it dawned on me that I was no longer in my funk.. knowingly or not, these women helped change my entire disposition, and for that I am grateful...

My gosh..

Where WOULD we be without our friends??
So here is to good books...

and to good friends...
