And that basically... The Nut doesn't fall far from the tree....
Yesterday Mr R was out of town overnight on business... I stayed home all day... doing laundry... Picking up and basically wandered around in my pajamas..... When Mr R is out of town.... it is every man for himself... or in our case ... Every Gal for herself.... I DO NOT COOK....
Was it some old time Italian comic featured on RIA?...
No.... She called me up stairs and said there was a special delivery for me !!!
She chuckled and asked if there was something I wanted to tell her???

What The......
I read the lovely sentiments on the card.. it was from my son...
but why was there a
"Its a Boy" balloon attached?... Had the wrong flowers been delivered?
I left it in the packaging and called the florist... just to be sure.
Here.......
This is a little better......

Address of recipient.... Correct
Name of recipient ........ Correct
Card from Giver.......... Correct
Address from Giver .... Correct
OK then said the Nice lady over the phone....
"Let's take a look at the Special instructions... One white pitcher, pink roses, yellow daisies" etc.. etc...
and One "Its a boy Balloon"
Suddenly it was perfectly clear to me !!!
He purposely had them put the balloon in !!!!!
The person on the other end kept insisting she could look into this further to make sure the order was right.. After all... "Customer Satisfaction "WAS their goal......
"Do you want the order number to go online and verify?
I thanked her and said no...
"I think this is just my Son's odd sense of humor"
Hesitantly and with some doubt in her voice, she said.......
" Are you Sure???".... "I think these were supposed to be for Mother's Day ?!"
"Yeah... I am sure...."
" Oh.. OK.. if you are sure".....
I tell ya... I don't know WHERE... he gets it ?????

Thank You.... THIS......made my day.....

It is easy just to call the florist and order flowers for Mother's Day, but it takes love and a creative thought to do what he did....you are right...the nut doesn't fall too far from the tree:) Love your picture....your hair looks great although I do miss the PERM:) Happy Mother's Day to my very special friend:)
