Sometimes... You're just not moved...

We just got back from dinner and the movies..

I use the plural " Movies" there because one of the benefits of being an old ... OK... an "established" couple is, neither one of you has a problem with seeing different movies .... ALONE....

I know I know.. that may seem odd to some of you... but believe me it's usually a beautiful thing...

Mr R came in a bit late from his trip.. but called to say if I wanted to wait for him.. there would be dinner and movie in it for me...

Ummm .... Hellooooo.... I'm on that like white on rice...

Dinner was at our new fave .. The Rusty Bucket... and then off to the movies...

He off to Theatre 9 and Star Trek I Theatre 15

The Soloist.

We met at the end of the movies...

Mr R:"Well... how was your movie"

Me: "It was OK?"

Mr R: " Just OK?"

Me: " Yeah.. it was alright but .. I don't know.. it just didn't move me"

Me: "How about yours?"

Mr R: "Oh Man.. Mine was great !!!!.. You should have seen the special effects!!!!!!.. they had both Spocks!!!!! Bones !!!!! the entire old crew only young !!!!!!... and great special effects !!!!!!!!.. It was so good everyone even clapped at the end !!!!!!!... Oh man .. and the special effects !!!!!!!!... It was such a great movie !!!!!!!....and.."

Me: " I was really looking forward to being moved tonight"

Sometimes... You're just not moved....
