Grace in Small Things : Day 1 of 365

Grace...
In small things..
Once again an important lesson has been demonstrated to me
This time it is :

That even I the Parent..can be taught by the child.

This has been the case for me through my entire life.. Not only have I learned alot from my children.. I have also been humbled by lessons from people I originally disliked .. OK.. Downright Hated...People I thought I had nothing in common with etc...

So it goes with this little project... You can find inspiration all around you.. if only you look.

Maria has turned me on to the adventure that SHE is working on called.....

"Grace in Small Things"...

(I don't really know how to use the website yet Maria will have to teach me that too)

What it is in a nutshell...



Grace in small things is a challenge.

"You are hereby challenged to find the joy in small things, because life is short and love is large."

Everyday you are asked to list five positive things every day.

Why?

"Grace in Small Things exists because we are choosing not to allow the noisiness of life to rob us of the time and energy to be mindful of ourselves and those we love and to recognize the grace that exists in small things."

I think it's a GREAT idea...
I think I am going to try and do it everyday
I think I am going to try and not beat myself up if I don't
I think some days it's going to be harder then others.
I think I am up to the task.
I think I am gonna start right now....
