Happy 1st of December....

Happy December Everyone !!!!
I thought it would be nice to try and get some Christmas Feel on this thing..

so I monkeyed around a bit with the background.... and... Added Music !!!

I Happen to think it's a nice touch.. I can't believe I figured it out all by myself.. SCARY !!!

Although I can't brag too much ...

Some of you may have noticed ...I was having some issues with the first Christmas background ..... It was showing all the pictures and none of the text...

I have used the Shabbyblog backgrounds for a bit now and have never had a problem.. so I shot them an email asking what it might be...
They were kind enough to write back... and simply suggested that perhaps my text was white... matching the background..

Duh!!! of course white text on a white background would not show up.....I was glad they did not make me feel like an idiot.

At any rate.. I am trying really really hard to Make Merry...

It isn't always been easy...

I have heard ( It seems to me) more then the average amount of people who are sick or have loved ones who are sick ...

I have certainly heard more then the average amount of people out of work...

(many I know personally. )I hear the news of Folks alone and in despair... Some doing awful things to end their agony.

We are a country at war in not one but two area's of the world.. and have a global economy limping along...

Not to mention... I have loved ones who are far away....Who I will not be able to see for Christmas..

I could go on and on... about all the negative..
But
I am going to try and focus on the GOOD in this world..
I am going to try and focus on HOPE.

I am going to place GRATITUDE in the forefront.

In my opinion Christmas can help with this..because no matter how bad things are ... Something about Christmas helps us remember to take time out ... and say Thank You ...
