Spirit of Christmas...

Well...
It's almost here... Beautiful Beautiful Christmas !!!!
I have have been experiencing the usual Crazy part of Christmas ...
The Gifts..
The Wrapping...
The Food Preparation...
The Cleaning ....
The General Mayhem that is part of this season..
But I have also been experiencing the other part of this season...
The Friends..
The Parties...
The Visiting...
The Cards...
The excitement of what will be on Christmas day.

As a Christian.. It's important for me to acknowledge MY True Reason for the Season...
The Birth of Christ...
I know how much of difference the birth of MY children made in my life and in the lives of others... but let's face it... His Birth made the difference in all lives...and Changed the world !

Whether or not you are a believer...and ... No matter How you celebrate the Holidays....
( Or if you don't at all....)
It is undeniable... This time of the year ... SOMETHING magical happens.

It is the one time of the year that people stop and think about others.. even it's only to drop loose change in a red bucket.
Yes of course you still have those that exhibit their normal habits of Assholery... but as I am fond of saying...

"Assholery is merely the mask of Fear and Insecurity"

(It's not Shakespeare but in it's own way quite profound.)
At this time of the year... it only forces me to remember that.. and say a silent prayer for that person.

So without getting all EMO on you... I WILL be busy for the next few days.. but I wanted to wish each and everyone of you.. a Merry Christmas.. Happy Hanukkah .....Happy Kwanzaa... Happy Holidays ... and for those Bah Humbugs... Happy Friday !!!
