UGH !!!I have been alternating between completely stopped up... to a Nasty Nasal Drip.. I was about ready to put on a mask as to not contaminate the rest of the crew.
I figure......As long as it's not the Swine Flu

Hope that you are feeling better soon, It just goes to show you that to much of a good thing (holiday's) is not healthy for you.....Hoping your nasal fluids will return to normal soon

Sorry you are feeling not so great....all that partyyyyyyyyying did you in. At least you enjoyed the parties while you could. Now, have a nice cup of English tea and take care of yourself. I too am F.I.C and proud of it! I love how personal you are and all the quotes you have (Rilke is one of my favorites) and I actually met Kelly Corrigan at a luncheon in NYC last summer with my editor.
I am working on a memoir where my Italian, Catholic heritage takes center stage.
Love your blog...I am sorry about your Dad. In 2003 my Mom passed away and my life has never really been the same, which is very much a part of my memoir too.
