Crazy ... for Weddings !!

Hey all...
Plugging away here...
Only 10.......... GULP ...more days till the great big fat Italian... French... Polish ( mixed cultures ) wedding!

To say that I am freaking is not really true.. mainly because I am too numb to do so.

But some days...I just have so many last minute things to think about... that once the noggin starts working first thing in the morning..
(Usually in the shower)..
I start to get a little frazzled...

Since my poor little peanut brain isn't used to so much activity and with so many sensory neurons flashing ... it almost feels like my head is on fire...

But it's OK... I have a plan for my hair and make up for the wedding day in spite of this disconcerting event.

I just keep plodding along trying to do each thing on the list as best as I can.. Somehow .. some way things have a way of turning out...

Today on the list I have to make a stop at the florist to drop off tea lights..
(You know ambiance )
and the bakery...

Maria's cake ... (in fact her entire wedding) has been very simple but elegant...

The cake will have ribbon all along the boarder that matches the color theme... I plan on delivering it that today as well..
Yes one way or another.. everything will get done.. and hopefully turn out lovely...

After this wedding is all said and done...
I 'll have a few months to recoup and get ready for the next exciting event that will take place in August....
The marriage of my Son and his long time Lady Love....
That's why I think it only fitting that this year will go down in history and will forever been remembered as .....
The Year of Weddings !
or...
The year that Mom done lost her ever loving mind..

Either way it should be fun !!
Stay tuned !
