To Party... or .. Not to Party.. THAT is the question.

OK... So I have a dilemma...

Maria's Maid of Honor is hosting a Bachelorette Party.. ( Which I was invited to ) You know where the girls get all dolled up For a fun night on the town... But lets face it... These are young girls... They like the night life.. they like to boogieI on the other hand am usually in my pajamas by 9:00

But if I am being brutally honest here... the REAL reason I am leery about going is.....

There will be "Male Entertainment" I think I speak for most mothers when I say that the prospect of some odd duck who takes his clothes off for young women as living and shakes his junk / or trunk is a little disconcerting.

After all she is my baby... and would like to forever think of her that way..

They have arranged for a limo/ party bus to take them to some local night spots. That way no one will be driving.... as well as overnight accommodations at a hotel.

UGH !!!

What ever happened to personal showers with dainty lingerie and pink ladies ?

Now don't get me wrong... I am no prude.. I will partake in libations now and again.. And I can still kick up my heels if the music moves me...
And the music often does move me..
But...I am not naive...

I understand what this night will entail..

But PLEASE remember ladies... after you have had a few..

EVERYONE looks alot better than they really are.With bad lighting ... loud music and alcohol ... the guy hitting on you may look like Brad Pitt

But in reality may be Dilbert.

So you see.. I don't know if I am really up for all this excitement.

I just don't know if I can drag myself out for all of this...

Some have suggested that I go for only a part of the festivities..

The only problem is.. any part of the festivities could be potentially awkward and embarrassing.

So what do you think?... Yeah or Ney?

Either way I do hope the girls have fun...

That they act with class..

That they don't OVER do it.. with the drinking

Because these are the times of their lives.. and making memories with good friends is so important..

So whether or not I go for part of the party.. or ... not at all..

I do hope all goes well ...

That there is no DRAMA

That everyone looks out for each other.

and that there will be fun HAPPY memories for all

After all the next day... you don't want to feel like a giant

Especially since the next morning IS.......MOTHER'S DAY !!!!!!!
