Girls Outing... Earl lie in the mornin

EARLY this morning... and I DO mean EARLY

My self and a couple of other Birds decided to have ourselves some fun...

Actually two of my OLDEST friends decided to organize a fun filled field trip..to Eastern Market.. ( Thanks Les)...

We used to make this jaunt quite frequently years ago but before we knew it..

Life happened and our trips became less and less frequent..

But with the excuse of turning 50

(Yes Gra.. like it or not you will be 50 in just a few short days!!!! )

and the fact that it had been awhile.. we packed up our gear and headed off.

Of course before you can even THINK of doing any shopping...

You gotta eat..So we started the adventures at the Farmers Market Restaurant.. Not fancy but some good old fashion eats... Belly's full.. and finally awake with the help of some coffee.. it was time to head off to the sheds...Other early birds... It was starting to fill up

Both girls were amazed at the beautiful color and quantity of flowers... Suddenly ...Something caught their eye.... These roses were real ... can you believe the color?.... Almost the same beautiful shade of blue as this young man's hair...

This man was an orchid specialist..

A nice guy with a massive Camera was kind enough to indulge me by taking a picture of all of us with my little point and shoot.. (Lorn? was it from Commerce Twp ) Thank You!
No trip to Eastern Market would be complete without stopping in at Rocky Peanut Company.. My goodness.. Always reading the labels our resident Health Food Inspector GeneralWhile others opted for the Gummy Bears... Now that's what I'm talkin bout...

Another must do at the Market is J Hirt Company... a Landmark business ... So many choices and that's just the Tea Isle.

We didn't even scratch the surface of what to see or do ...but it was getting late and we all had things to do in our regular lives... so it was time to head home...

Stopping in long enough at Grazia's for a nice cold glass of water and a little conversation with Mamma Vanda...I had a blast girls..

Don't worry.....It's not so bad being 50 ... I feel like a veteran after all it's has been 10 days now !!
