The Birthday that keeps going... and going... and going.......

Well Mamma's Birthday festivities are still going strong....

The gang took her out to lunch on her big day... As you can see..... she was surrounded by some of her favorite people Some littleSome not so little

After the actual lunch.. we all sang Happy Birthday with Cannolis and a single Candle

Suddenly Mamma became a chain smoking Miss America of sorts..
Puffing away on her Birthday candle while holding her bouquet.

"Its a no reala... no worry"
At least she gave Mrs G a good laugh !!I cannot not even begin to guess at what was being said...
It was a good time for everyone... even her favorite son showed up.

Now you KNOW this made her happy...

But wait.. the fun and frolic isn't over yet folks....

The very next day...

She was visited by her lovely Niece...

My lovely cousin Virginia..

(Those of you who read all this nonsense on a regular basis .. might remember her from some of my past posts.. She's a regular)

Mamma was just showing her some of the beautiful flowers she got for her birthday... And before you know it... she pulled a rabbit out of a hat... or at least used the matching tissue paper from Virginia's gift to make rabbit ears...

Virginia...brought Mamnma a beautiful Vase...

She liked it so much...

She immediately started thinking of new ways to use it... besides placing flowers in it.

Wow !!!!!... First fake smoking ... then ...Fake drinking.

I'd say there are some hidden issues there...

Meh.. maybe it's just a faze... either way.. Virginia still likes her Aunt ... Just the way she is..

A little kooky.. but lovable...

The gift giving wasn't over yet... Mamma had a little surprise for Virginia as well ..

What's the perfect gift to give in the middle of 90 degree Heat wave?...

A couple of fleece blankets of course..

Ahh yes... Virginia loves her Aunt Very Very Much...

After all.. Family is family.. and we love each other Just the way we are..Thanks Ginny for the gifts and the visit... You made us both very happy..BUT WAIT !!!!!!

Today...As I ran out to finish some errands... Mamma got a special delivery..Martin and Melissa sent her a lovely Edible Arrangement of chocolate dipped strawberries As you can see.... Nana likes them VERY VERY MUCH !!!I guess they think pretty highly of her.. after all to them .. . She IS .. SUPER NANA !!!Thank s You guys...

Yes.. it's been a long drawn out Birthday. and needless to say it's worn her out..... but it sure has been fun..
