Feathering The Nest.

Sorry I’ve been so..

Absent..

What can I say..it’s a combination of being a bit too tired and just plain unmotivated..Meh…

I’ve decided to not let my panties get in a bunch if I just don’t have the giddy up and go to fit yet another project

ie: ( Blog Post) into the schedule.

Today I did have that giddy up and go.. and go I did, over to Mike and Maria’s that is..

Maria took a couple of days off to get things in order.

In my day this was called nesting.. You know where the Momma bird gets the nest in order.
It’s that natural urge all mothers to be seem to have, it’s that little nudging inside that makes them want to clean, organize, and make comfortable the surroundings that the newest little addition will be coming home to.

I can’t believe we are in the final stretch!

Today I was commissioned to help hang those blasted Pom Poms I made

You remember those don’t you…

You know… the Pom Poms that made it possible for me to enter a life of crime if I wanted to.. seeing how while making them the hot glue pretty much burned off the majority of my finger prints.

I see it as just one of many sacrifices I will probably be making for this little guy !

I’d say they didn’t turn out half bad… after we finally figured out how we were going to hang them..

Maria seemed pretty happy with how they turned out, and really I guess that’s what counts.

It was one of the final things she needed to get done in the nursery..

( Next..tackling Thank You notes for all THREE baby showers she had !!! )

Yes she has done a really good job of not complaining very much during her pregnancy.

And believe you me..for a while there she really had every right to..She’s been a real trooper.

It’s almost time to finally meet this wonderful new little man that will be entering into our lives, and we just can’t wait!!

He’s already got quite a stash of goodies going on here.
