Something Fishy …or.. Is it Somebody’s Birthday?

The news at hand is….The family gathered to celebrate my lovely sister in law Nancy’s Birthday

( Which was actually on the1st)

She is a Pisces …

How does one site on the internetz describe her?….

- Self-pitying

I would agree with all the strength keywords and NON of the Weakness keywords..

After all she does my hair and I certainly cannot afford to piss her off…I kid I kid !

She is a wonderful gal… and a saint for marrying my brother.oops did I write that out loud?

If she does have a fault I would have to say that sometimes she gets a little showy.. but only on special occasions like her birthday.

Exhibit A.

Anyway.. After our usual gathering at the local Italian joint. We all gathered at Gino and Nancy’s house for some caka e icecreama.

The house was FULL of preggos..

Everywhere you looked you saw great big belly's..looking like they were ready to pop.

(A lot of those were on the men…)

We were met at the house by some of Nancy’s family who came by to have some that ….caka e icecreama.

Ironically March is already filled with many birthdays and with two new soon to be arrivals it will be a Birthday Blow Out Month for sure.

When I went to pick up Nancy’s cake I thought I’d be nice

( JUST THIS ONCE) and pick up a little cupcake for her niece in law (?) is that how it’s said if she is married to her nephew?

Erin’s birthday was yesterday so hey why not…

They each made wishes… and blew out their candles..

I hope your dreams comes true Erin for a happy healthy baby… and Nanc. sorry in spite of making your wish.. we are all still here.. better luck next year…

March is Birthday Cray Cray !!

The aforementioned Nephew…Erin’s lovely husband Stefano and his twin Nicholas, also have a birthday this month. Nicholas could not be there but…we sang for him too.

“Yo… Happy Birthday to me !! and my Bro !!!”

Phew… THAT was exhausting…

The place was packed with motherhood and Pisces.

We will take a breather for the babies to be born… and then the next birthday we will celebrate will be for this guy…

He…. is one of my favorite fishes..oh wait.. even though his birthday is in March…he is a Ram… It’s ok.. I them too.

Yep after the two little ones are born.. the grand total of people having birthdays in March will be….8 !!

( Can't Forget my daughter in law Melissa.. Also born on March 1st ! ... what a Cowinky dink ! )

They don’t call it March Madness for nothing…

All this talk about March has reminded me that I am going to
“Attempt” this little project

A photo a day challenge.

I like the idea of taking at least ONE picture everyday for the month.. if for no other reason but to keep inspired.

Sometimes even the most mundane ordinary objects can be inspiring.. As a project like this forces you to look at things in a lot of different ways.

It’s already day 4 so I will backtrack a bit.

This is the last of the “Blood Oranges”

*Although it was not fully ripe.... I wanted to show you the inside.*Note the dark red rim around the edge. Fully ripened blood oranges are a deep deep ruby red ..We had the juice from blood oranges in Italy about 6 years ago… they were heavenly !

Another reason this kind of project is so cool… is it forces you to REALLY look at things.. and how beautiful they are.
