Special Delivery… Raccoons Galore !!!

We had a special delivery today…
You see….We’d been hearing some odd noises up on the roof.. and in the attic.. (and I’m not talking Santa here.)
Not too long before all the clomping around…Mamma had seen a great  big fat raccoon   waddling across the street. 
This…. coupled with the fact that our garage door had been left open just a crack while some clothes were drying… helped us deduce that she was probably scoping out the hood… and decided to campout ..at our place…
Aren’t we lucky….
So we called in the Professionals…
( We weren’t about to mess with a crazy ass raccoon ! )
So Tom  from Critter Control came out and accessed the attic…

After a little bit of scuffling around… he came back down with

Baby  raccoons… and I have to say… I fluctuated between feelings of…. Awwwwh.. how cute… to… Uggghh… I’m  totally skived out.
I mean we had a virtual raccoon nursery right above us…
Or should I say right above Mamma’s room.
“Oh  my gasha… you mean dey  liva right ova my rooma?”
“Waita minuta…waita justa minuta…. You sura you gotta everyboda?”
“You gonna maka me madda ifa you no gotta everyboda..”
“Ok… Thanka you for to catcha dis lila racoona.. Maybe at nighta  they heara me sleepa  dey thinka I amma da Mamma ….  O my gosha….dis crazy racoona.”

Yes.. we will sleep easier tonight for sure… that is until we get the bill for extracating our four little uninvited guests…
