Merry Christmas : The Fickle Finger of Fate Strikes Again !

This time quite literally…October
Some of you might remember
I missed Maria’s Birthday Party because of a high fever and a lovely bout of Cellulitis
November Time of giving thanks with family and friends.. or in my case spending the day  passing a Kidney Stone
And ….Yes… it happened again, my 3rd visit to an ER in the last 3 months
December
This time while yanking out a furnace filter I was changing…I managed  to slice my middle finger..
 ( Which is a bit appropriate and ironic  don’t you think?)
I could not get the pesky thing to stop bleeding..  So I popped in the local  ER for 3 stitches and Tetanus  shot ( in lieu of a candy cane I guess )

Hopefully the swelling will go down..cause I have 16 people coming for Christmas.. and lots of cooking to do.
I have many pics to post of  all the fun things happening around here....( aside from slicing & dicing  digits) but will have to get to it later.
