Ahh Stupid People.. You gotta love em... No really you gotta love em.

This one made me laugh out loud...

Maybe because it rings so true... Now I am not saying I think I am Alberta Einstein..

but I am not totally ignorant either.. So it is rather depressing..when you come across "Stupid People" at all levels of the Stupidity Scale.....

and believe you me...

There is a stupidity scale.. We just aren't always aware of it...
Starting with the basics...

How to greet people.. How to answer a phone...How to tell the truth... How to really really listen..

The theme also runs through to the other side of the spectrum.

The bigoted... Self Serving.. Mean Spirited ... Know it all... Egomaniacs.

It's easy to be angry and holier then thou with these types ... because the level of the stupidity is so blatant!

So you can imagine what a surprise it is for me to figure out....that in my zest for pointing out stupidity OF OTHERS .....all levels great and small.......I become one of them.. STUPID.

A couple of things just never occurred to me....

1.

Not everyone has had the benefit of being raised well.. I mean stupidity really can be passed down in your DNA.

2.

Without Love and Guidance... We can be affected by our environment.

I remember watching a documentary..... long ago that showed an overpopulated Russian orphanage in truly deplorable conditions....

Healthy... Viable Children were placed along side Mentally Impaired children. and barely received the basics in care..

Non of the children received much interpersonal attention.

Soon the children who were Not mentally impaired ... started showing traits of those who were.. Rocking back and forth.. Limited almost No verbal skills... etc..

Before long children who had nothing holding them back intellectually...Atrophied.

What fighting chance did they have?... Without Mental Stimulation....Encouragement..and Love...They became what they saw around them.

The Analogy is this..... If all someone has ever seen in life.. and how do deal with it.. is Stupidity?....well.... there you have it.

Another factor is ....

It can all be just a cover up....

If a person KNOWS better...yet still behaves stupidly.

A little Anthropological Study into why they are the person they are ...
How they were raised..

How they were or were not nurtured... will often reveal... a very very insecure person..

Thus leading them down the not so primrose path of stupidity.. through no fault of their own.

They don't MEAN to be stupid.. it's all a ruse to cover up the fact they think so little of themselves...

Well now... I didn't' mean to get all Dark and Twisty on you...I just know that I have not yet reached that level of enlightenment and/or...patience to put up with Stupid people... Which in turn makes me stupid ... and / or..... Depressed
